Gary's New fishing hole

Gary found a great fishing hole right behind our campground in Newport, Washington. He is fishing on the Pend Oreille River. He took the boat out one day and was really lucky fishing that way also. While fishing, he got to see a doe with her two fawns and an osprey swoop down for it's dinner.

Time to rebait.

This fish is called a teninch (sp?). Today he caught two on one cast.
If you want a better look, click on the picture and it will get bigger.

This osprey would perch on this limb and watch for the yellow perch before sweeping down for dinner.
