Museum of the Rockies, Bozeman, Mt 2015

Wow, what a great museum to see.  I thought that all we would see would be dinosaurs, but we saw guns, cars, planes, Indian artifacts, a planetarium, and lots of dinosaurs.  The price to visit the museum was $14.75 for seniors, but I believe we got our money's worth.  We saw a lot of different types of dinosaurs that we had never heard of.  All of the bones came from somewhere in Montana.  Every room just got even better.  Even got to see clusters of dinosaur eggs.  Some of those dinosaurs sure had long legs.

Dinosaur museum, Rapid City, SD

Was not really sure I wanted to tour this museum as the dinosaurs are models not the real thing, but then I thought that we were going to see the new Jurasic World movie and none of those dinosaurs are real either.  So, for $8 each, we gave it a go.  Found out, we really liked it.  Besides the dinosaurs, there was a mirror maze which provided a lot of amusement.

Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum

The Utah Field House of Natural History is located in Vernal, Utah. It is also close to the Dinosaur National Monument.  Upon entering the museum you are met with a Diplodocus, a dinosaur that was 90 feet long.  Then you enter a theater that shows what it is like to be on a fossil dig.  After the movie, you get to see some fossils and dinosaur bones.  There are hands on activities for the kids.  You end up outside viewing models of different dinosaurs.  Great little museum.  $3 for Seniors.

Dinosaurs at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum

Some of those dinosaurs were really big.  We really enjoyed seeing all the bones of dinosaurs and other rare animals.  Must say we spent a lot of time looking at bones.
