Theodore Roosevelt National Park, South

Teddy's Maltese Cross Ranch House. He asked his friends to build a ranch house for him and this was the result. It was built out of railroad ties. After Teddy became President, the house was moved six times as some felt the American citizen should be able to see the house. It is now located about 7 miles from where it was originally built. The ranger gave us a tour inside the house. Pictures of the inside can be seen on the webshots site.

Caught these cute prairie dogs during our visit to the park.

One of the views of the park from an Painted outlook. Posted by Picasa
