Las Vegas, Nevada
Our time in Vegas was short but full of things to do. We spent two days on the strip, but were not able to see all of the Casinos. We were able to see the free shows at the Billagagio, Treasure Island, and the Mirage. We walked into numerous casinos and were so busy looking at things, we did not have time to gambe. One of the things that kept Gary from gambling was the fact that most of the slot machines did not have a coin receptical, one had to put in bills or tickets. We were able to see two shows, the first was a show which featured The Coasters, Platters, and Drifters. Great show!!!! The second show was called the Legends which featured look-a-likes for Buddy Holly, Maddona, Bruce Springsting, Aretha Franklin, the Temptations, and of course Elvis. An okay show but not as good as the first. I figured out that the best way to see Vegas is to swim at the motel or RV park during the morning, early afternoon, and then go out at night. We also saw some of the free shows. We found a great place to park at O'Sheas. From there we were able to walk to quite a few of the Casinos. We are currently on our way to June Lake to do some fishing.
