Pacific Combat Zone 2014

The second half of the Museum of the Pacific War is the Pacific Combat Zone.  This area is set up to represent what the allies would have met when attacking one of the many islands on their way to Japan.  During October, they re-enact taking an island, would love to be able to see on of the re-enactments.  Part of this tour includes viewing an avenger and a PT boat.

National Museum of the Pacific War 2014

This was our third visit to the National Museum of the Pacific War.  Once again, we were amazed at all the things we learned about the war in the Pacific.  We had enough time during this visit to take advantage of all the computer stations found in the exhibits.  If you have never visited this museum, you need to put it on your list of places to visit.
